  8. I examined the beta you sent.  Because your background is now pure
  9. white, we have to make two changes.  Two .JPG files must be changed
  10. to .GIF files so we can enable transparency.  The new GIF files, and
  11. the HTML code that references them are below, along with installation
  12. instructions.

  14. The new HTML code also corrects the problem Dave Methvin found when
  15. testing this page with IE 3.0.  It turns out the problem was actually
  16. a number of unpaired <TR> codes.  In addition, I replaced the JAVA
  17. script per Methvin's suggestion -- and he's right, it is more
  18. efficient and better written.

  40. Here's another question for you:  Do we need a "Copyright 1996 CMP
  41. Media Inc." statement at the bottom of the
  42. \DEMO\EARTHLNK\EARTHLNK.HTM file for consistency?  If so, could you
  43. please add it?

  45. I haven't gotten either of the new demos which have been mentioned
  46. for inclusion.  But Friday is still to come; that's the deadline I
  47. gave them for me to get things set up and then to you.  Sooooo.....
